It's strange what a silly piece of mistletoe can lead to, but after that first kiss Cor and Nyx did indeed start casually dating. It might not have been smooth sailing from the get-go, Nyx still had to get used to Cor's rather interesting personality, but it was never a turn off and over time he started to understand the way he functioned better and he felt himself really growing fond of him.

The trickiest part of their dating was actually finding the time for it. With Cor's high position in the Crownsguard he seemed to always be on duty, and Nyx wasn't exactly swimming in free time either. But after the first positive dates, Nyx suddenly found his shifts being unexpectedly moved around more than usual. He'd still be in bed when he suddenly got a call from Drautos asking if he could take on the early shift instead of the late one because of some vague reason, then when he was hurrying to get ready, Cor would send a message asking if he was available that evening... It was hard not to suspect what was going on here, and even if Nyx never said a word about it, he loved how someone would go to this extent of abusing their position just to see him.

Tonight had been a really good date, Cor had taken him for dinner and they'd had a good time talking about a lot of things, but the most memorable parts were when they had said nothing at all and Nyx's foot had wandered up Cor's leg, a quiet way of telling him there were definitely some interesting options to end this date with if he wanted to.

After dinner they went for a walk, and somehow they'd naturally ended up in front of Cor's home. Nyx looked at the building, then back at Cor and offered him his softest smile. "So, this is it then, your place."
