[ Nyx woke up with a groan, rolled over onto his stomach and tried to remember what day it was and if he had any duties today. He slowly realized he didn't remember much from last night either, until he opened his eyes and saw words written on his arm...
Ignis. Ikea. AM.
They were written surprisingly neat along one of his line tattoos, funnily enough. And they were enough to jog his memory. Right, furniture shopping with Ignis. How did he get talked into doing that? Well it wasn't so much talked into as forced into, he realized. Ignis seemed to be good at that.
As he sat up he had another look around his room, was it really that bad? Okay, it was. It was really empty considering how long he had been living here. And he knew why, it still felt like a temporary thing. When he'd first moved in here, he thought it was going to be for maybe one or two years, and then everything would be alright and he could move back to Galahd. Except, well, that never happened, did it? And now they were 10+ years along, and counting.
It was time to do something about it.
So he cleaned himself up, found something to measure the room with, texted Ignis with where he would be waiting for him and headed out to meet him. ]

[ Nyx had to swallow some of his pride to ask the prince for this favor, but the result was worth it. His motorcycle turned out to be the kind of thing he never knew he was missing in his life. The freedom of how he could speed through traffic was completely different from the limits of a car. Not that he ever personally owned a car either, so knowing this bike was all his? Seeing his name on the ownership certificate? Yeah, it was a good feeling.
He still planned on paying Noctis back one day though, maybe save all the money and then one day simply hand it over to him. Even if he'd probably get punched over it. It was a pride thing, he didn't want people to think he was only in this to get favors from his royal highness.
The roads in Insomnia were exciting, but he still wanted to take this baby out for a spin on the dirt roads in Leide. But what's the fun in doing this on his own when he could have company? That's why he had invited Noctis, and also because he loved the idea of taking him outside of Insomnia. The prince deserved to see a bit of the world!
So that was why he was waiting in the underground parking garage beneath the Citadel. He was wearing his glaive uniform, he wanted to smuggle Noctis out by making this look like official business after all. He was leaning against his bike, checking his watch again as the prince was taking his time. He'd packed some things for the road, camping gear and a fishing rod, since he'd promised they would take some time to do just that. ]
Nyx was pretty excited about meeting up with Prompto for their so called date. He wasn't sure where this would lead, but the kid was pretty cute and seemed fun to spend time with, even if he threw cheese at his head.
He'd even brought some things from his fridge as promised, but he cheated a little and stopped by a grocery store to pick up some extra options. He didn't exactly want their sandwiches to suck, Prompto would probably take it personally somehow, and he wanted him to have a good time and not feel insecure about their dinner.
Funnily enough he actually knew where he lived, as a Kingsglaive he was part of prince Noctis' security, and that included being briefed on who his friends were. So he knew the general area of where Prompto's house was, and he only needed to ask a friendly neighbor to be directed to the exact one.
